Isaac Newton succeeded in explaining, in a mathematical way, the workings and behaviour of the physical world – both that of the earth as well as space. His theories castoff old theories and, through his work, Physics became recognized as a distinct and separate science.
Perhaps all this began when he was only a child, climbing apple trees, or when – one day – an apple fell on his head, giving him the inspiration for the notion of gravity. Everything is possible…
