Bare Bones

“Bare Bones” takes place in a distant future where humanity has achieved interstellar travel but still clings to its basic instincts. A destroyed colony world, ravaged by a catastrophic war, is now home only to THORAX units, which are biomechanical remnants of human pilots combined with machines, driven to consume the last traces of life. A Man and a rare, self-aware THORAX survive by hunting these creatures and feeding on the human remains within them. Their brutal partnership gets shaken when they meet a Woman, an emissary who offers them a chance to escape or endless food, though her motives are unclear. As they travel together through the wasteland, they face the horrors of their world and themselves. They start questioning what it really means to be human and whether they are worth saving.
