The Cosmonaut is NOT a science fiction book. It is a book ABOUT science fiction. It is an ode to this wonderful genre, a journey of inner exploration set against the backdrop of the works of Le Guin, Asimov, Philip K. Dick, as well as the comics of Moebius and Bilal, George Lucas' epic, and the creations of great sci-fi storytellers.
At the same time, it is a book about the joy of reading, the anxiety of writing, and the stress of exposure. Ultimately, it is a book about the happiness of being where you belong and doing what you love.
A young man searches for his place in Athens. Stuck in his morning office job, his only thrill is his obsessive reading of sci-fi books. When he starts Kosmodromio, a magazine about science fiction and more, it leads him to the great adventure of his life.
The Cosmonaut has mystery, humor, wandering, new friendships, love... and it might even have aliens.
